It's Official I'm 30!!! My party was awesome! I had a Vegas themed party compliments of Shannon; Jesse helped to, I think he moved the couch.. : ) The one present that I wanted most was a Mountain Bike! Jess and my mom pitched in and got me the bike. It is awesome! I love it! I will be going on a bike ride this afternoon. Our last ride was 2 miles I wonder if I can get Jesse to do three without noticing how far we go.

Star light star bright first star I see tonight and every 4 nights a week for this next month :) My poor husband! I always feel so bad when I have to do my stint on the night shift. He doesn't get the sleep he needs and has to do the single dad thing at night. I also have to let Jade go to Virginia for a whole month and that sucks too! But at least I wont be missing her to much and it will be easier for Jesse to just have Kambrin, I think???

I got a new couch and kitchen table today, so I worked last night went home picked up the hubby and the girls, went to RC Willey and saved some money! Jesse stayed in the Jeep with the girls while I waited in the line, it was too cold and they wanted to eat their breakfast. Kambrin loved it so much, I found that out later because she ate my breakfast too. :0

Why moms have more ENERGY!!

We really don't have more energy! The kids just say that 3 letter word "mom" in such a way that you never get to sit long enough to show that you can be lazy too.....

Well I was just on vacation and let me tell you aside from waking up with Jesse, getting the kids ready for the day, taking Jade to school, a little bit of picking up the house, picking up the kids, and cooking dinner.. I didn't do much at all, I even caught up on the saga of Days of Our Lives. I was able to get yard sale things ready! But really moms couldn't survive with out a bit of energy help..coffee, cola, or a banana! We just don't always get the sleep we want and when we do we feel bad about it like we should have done something instead of taking a nap, funny how that turns out eh? Like last night I fell asleep on the couch and Kambrin tried to wake me up and I don't remember it at all, when Jesse told me after I woke up I felt bad for falling asleep.

Seperate Vacations or Madatory Date Nigts!!!

Yesterday I asked jesse what he thought of taking separate vacations... See you can have mid-night meet ups or what ever but, you still get much needed alone time.

hmm the advantages, a free baby sitter with out feeling rushed to get home because for some reason God has blessed you with two girls the youngest daughter is also the whinniest three year old you have ever met (my opinion)and an older daughter who I feel really enjoys making the three year old cry, her way of punishing her parents I think. Did you know that a three year olds face turns more red then a tomato, or that when you ask a nine year old why did you do that they shrug and say I don't know with this look on their face like their eyeballs are getting ready to jump from their heads because they must be in some kind of trouble.

Your parents couldn't wait until you grew up, got out of the house, got a good job, married and then the questions began... are you having kids... why the kids? Because they want a baby around every once and a while... little did we know as our parents would ask us "When are you having kid? How many are you having? and Why don't you want more, you make cute babies"? that kids are bratty little things that only look cute so that you keep them around, that one child is easier then two and so on, they are germ carriers, they never eat yet you need to make them "favorite noodles" just so three bites later they are done with dinner. You have to remind the 9 yr old to change her dirty socks, they test you(shouldn't testing be given by us not them)and they drive you so insane that you are the ones going into time out as the spanking days are over for parents yet weren't we all spanked (not beaten just a hand on the butt)

Kids are sweet little things they make you laugh, smile, and love! and they love you back and they barley know you.

with all that said my advise!...

Life is so stressful and not taking a time out just for yourselves just isn't a good thing, but I think that it needs to be alone time not just a night away from kids to hang out with friends, I really think "parents"(I don't about the ones with out kids but I'm sure it is about the same)need just mommy and daddy time together and then just mommy and daddy time alone. I really don't think that I would ever do the separate vacation but I do think that real soon maybe after things settle down in my nutty world, I will make mandatory take me away from those kids night!!!

Making a valentine box with Jade for school, Jesse took all our pictures. Jade had a fun time almost as much as me. I taught her how to make flowers out of tissue paper. She said "this is hard work" I'll update with the finished product when I find my camera.

Oh yes she is that old, very hard to imagine that since I only look like I'm 21 ha ha. We had her a princess party at my house, with a real princess which all the girls loved it was amazing how quiet they all got for her, she did a fantastic job. Jade got a ton of neat things just what a girl growing up needs. Not as many toys awesome!! She got this MP3 player from Janda and now Jade walks around yelling at us because she can't her herself talk. She got these tattoos from AuntD and I've had to put one on her every day before school, I'm ready to call you Andy and ask you just to watch the kids so you can do the tattoo sleeves and save me some time in the morning. She got some fun Hanna Montana writing stuff and journal along with some cute clothes from grandma and grandpa Beckstead. Oh and don't for get the fun Jonas brothers bag and bangles (yes she knew what they were) from Uncle Josh and Aunt Shannon. She even took the bag to school as her new back pack. She also got a new stereo from grandma Pam and the Grease soundtrack which she listens to each night before she goes to bed..... She really did have a good party and she got a lot of neat things so thanks to who ever reads this! Here are the Pics...
and further more for future slumber party moms out there make it an even number of girls odd numbers start fights trust me I know.

Kambrins NEW Hat...

I got this hat at the Oshkosh store for Kambrin and I was so excited to give it to her and she wanted nothing to do with it. She pulled it off and threw it to the ground. So needless to say I gave up for a while....then one cold day I got it on her and took her outside, she forgot all about the hat and she loves the HAT now! when you put it on her she knows its time for going out side.

Happy Anniversary

Jesse and I went to Heber for the night of our 1st year anniversary. As a present to me and him we went horse back riding, jesse for the first time.. and for me it is something I love and never get to do. The trail was fun and not easy I felt bad for the horses but they seemed to love it, plus they got to eat all they wanted stubborn things, but it was a lot of fun! We stayed at the most beautiful place ever.

I remember being so young and having sleepovers at my Aunt Debbie's and Aunt Kimmy's house almost every weekend. It was a great escape from my house. All the crazy things we use to do as a kids, I remember we would set up the tents out in the back yard, one time got a little scary because there was some weirdo yelling outside Janda's neighbors house and her neighbors dogs (bow and arrow) were barking all crazy. We all got scared (mostly me I'm sure) and we went into the house. There were other times that Janda would read

(how I loved that book) there was one story that she would read me all the time called "The Toe" I'm not sure why but I loved it. And now as we grow up and no longer have sleep overs my daughter Jade goes to Janda's house and Jade loves it as much as I did. Here are pictures of Jades first day back to school. I missed it because I had to work....but my sweet husband took the day off and took some cute pictures (please don't mind the messy house), she had a really good day back to school. Jesse said it is a mad house the first day back and that the line to the office was so long it went out the front door...don't people pay attention to back to school night HELLO, I would never go there the first day back and try and enroll my kids what a freaking mess, I'm glad I'm not a school office lady, I wouldn't have the patients for it. I remember my first time in the first grade...it was a lot of fun, so much I took the first grade twice (I was quite the little talker in school). Jade has been coming home with a ton of school work that she doesn't finish in class,and that makes a lot of homework at night. I had a little talk with her teacher and she says she along with the rest of class is talking a lot and not following along with direction, yes I know it is the first week of school and she is just getting back from summer vacation with out any structure so I hope the next few weeks go by smoother or my daughter will find out that the kitchen table is not a comfortable seat. All in all I'm glade that she is back to school and is enjoying it.

I don't know how strange these are, but here goes...

1. I can't drink beer or wine with food, I don't know why but it makes my food taste funny...
2. I plan cargo ships in Salt Lake.....theres no ocean....and often times the people in Hawaii forget will say something like you see how our ship is list to the one side...well no I can't see that far out my window.
3. I have never been to Disney Land.
4. My cousin is going to be my sister in law :)
5. I like Hanna Montana/Miley Cyrus as much as Kids; with out wearing the clothes.
6. It's not too weird, just a female thing but I always plan my days off packed full of things to do so I'm often late, then not.

This was Kambrin's birthday party and she was not a happy 1 year old, bad planning on my part what kind of mom schedules a birthday party during her nap time....geee. We still had a lot of fun and all the kids got to swim. Janda brought her famous home made Cake Batter Ice Cream I just love the stuff. I made 3 dozen cupcakes that morning, and for once I felt like super mom. I'm glad that I'm done with party's the rest of the year though. Thanks to everyone who brought something or helped out you saved my sanity.

Kambrin has been walking for about a month now and during this month she has gotten very sneaky, I was doing my hair the other day and she was hanging out in the front room and well when she went walking by a was quite surprised to see her little face walking by. Later that day we were hanging out in there together and she showed me how she does it.
